		<description>my dad has a kindle its great. you can look stuff up on wikipedia and now on the second version models amazon made a deal with verizon so the kindle connects wireless  to the 3g network for purchases and for wikipedia searches. plus if it is stolen all of your purchased books and notes are available to download again on record.</description>

		<description>With the Kindle, you can take notes and highlight (and now even access them on the web). That said, it is nowhere near as satisfactory as taking notes in real life, it&#039;s true. However, for textbooks, the ability to use searchable text as opposed to indexes is HUGE. Imagine writing a paper and searching for &quot;The Boxer Rebellion&quot; in a book on Modern China rather than having to search in indexes. The technology has plenty of advantages as well :-)</description>
