The idea behind comment love

When I was in high school applying to colleges, one of the big things that drew me to my eventual college was its great motto (slogan? mantra?):

“Think one person can change the world? So do we.”

When I saw the idea for Comment Love from P.J. Onori, I saw an incredible opportunity to both promote genuine discussion while contributing to society as well. There are over 76,000 blogs with a Technorati Authority of 50+. If all of them had a comment love max of $10 (My max donation will be $20/month), we would see an extra $9 million per year going to charities around the world.
So please, as you contribute your ideas and insight to this blog, I will do my best to contribute to society. If you have a blog of your own, please think about creating the same type of system and let’s change the world together.
